Job Summary

You will serve as an IT Specialist (PLCYPLN) in the Command, Control, Communications and Cyber Directorate, Policy, Resource & Requirements Division of HEADQUARTERS US INDO-PACIFIC COMMAND.

Job Description

GS-Level 13: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate performing duties such as the following: 1) Applying experience with IT Enterprise technology relating to Networks, Information/Knowledge Management, Security Management, telecommunications, and automated management tools; 2) Facilitating Operational Procedures and Customer-Based best business practices; 3) Developing information security plans to prevent information systems vulnerabilities through the use of Information Systems/Network Security-methods, tools, and procedures; and 4) Managing data through the use of various data management tools, principles, and procedures. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving. GS-Level 12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying IT Enterprise technology as related to Networks, Information/Knowledge Management, Security Management, telecommunications, and automated management tools; 2) Utilizing multiple Information Systems/Network Security-methods, tools, and procedures; 3) Managing data through the use of various data management tools, principles, and procedures.
