Job Summary

You will serve as an IT Specialist (INFOSEC/CUSTSPT) in the Operations Division, Information Systems Department of NAVAIR TRAINING HUMAN CAPITAL MGMT GRP. The Secretary of Defense has ordered a department-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the DoD hiring freeze. Job Description

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing Information Technology work ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, or availability of systems, networks, or data through the implementation or maintenance of information systems security programs. Examples of specialized experience may include: evaluating IT security plans, policies, procedures, or measures to ensure they are properly applied to IT systems or networks; verifying compliance with cyber security/information assurance requirements; identifying vulnerabilities of information technology systems; ensuring networks are certified and accredited for information security. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
