You will serve as a TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT.

Job Description

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector with technical expertise and knowledge of freight Traffic Management policies and procedures. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Analyzing Foreign Military Sales (FMS) related to transportation and logistics management to conduct negotiations for freight transportation services; 2) Utilizing approved financial reconciliation systems such as SYNCADA to reconcile bills and determine economic feasibility of material movements; 3) Providing expertise in all areas of traffic management including HAZMAT certification policies and procedures and experience with Transportation Global Edit Tables (TGET); 4) Utilizing Title 10 regulations and funding established on Transportation Account Codes to ensure transportation plans are the most efficient and cost effective; 5) Establishing policies and guidelines for movement of material and solving complex transportation issues.
