Job Summary

The position of Senior Advisor, Intellectual Property reports to the Principal Director, Defense Pricing, Contracting, and Acquisition Policy. The Senior Advisor, Intellectual Property is responsible for the policy of Intellectual Property across the Department of War.

TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS (TQs): Your resume should demonstrate accomplishments that would satisfy the technical qualifications: TQ 1: Demonstrated expert knowledge of, and extensive experience in, system acquisition and/or program management. TQ 2: Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with the development of requirements for upgrade and sustainment and licensing of Intellectual Property and technical data rights preferably within both the Federal Government and industry; including delivery requirements, structuring, drafting, revising, and negotiating a wide variety of agreements related to intellectual property and technology including software and intellectual property license agreements, research and development agreements, and strategic alliance agreements. Time in grade is not required for Senior Level (SL) position.
