You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes responsibility for managerial oversight, advice, and guidance for all aspects and functional areas of military and/or civilian personnel Human Resources programs; extensive knowledge of command missions, programs, priorities and knowledge of human resource, budget, manpower management, strategic planning, and change management, with particular emphasis on human resource concepts, laws, regulations and procedures. Evaluate civilian and military human resources business processes, employment policies, and historical practices to streamline and improve quality of services. Provide administrative oversight over the Directorate's budget, manpower and personnel programs. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-14). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Accountability Customer Service Decisiveness Flexibility Interpersonal Skills Problem Solving Resilience Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-14).
