Job Description
NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED: This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the National Guard. Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform. Acceptance of an excepted service position constitutes concurrence with these requirements as a condition of employment. MILITARY REQUIREMENTS: Selected individual must be assigned to a compatible military position in the following AFSC upon date of hire: 8I000. Aptitude scores can be checked on the vMPF or at the Customer Service in the Force Support Squadron and physical profile in the medical squadron. MSgt to SMSgt are eligible to apply. Military grade inversion within the full-time work force is not permitted. The military grade of the full-time supervisor must equal or exceed the military grade of personnel supervised. GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience, education, or training which has provided the applicant with skill in collecting and analyzing data effectively, efficiently, and accurately; knowledge of applicable laws, directives, regulations, policies, and procedures; skill in interpersonal communications, empathy, and effective listening; ability to organize thoughts, research materials, and manage case projects; skill in comprehending and interpreting directives and laws; ability to enunciate without impediment of speech that would interfere or prohibit effective communications; ability to write reports and presentation formats; and ability to communicate -orally and in writing- clearly and effectively. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: 1-year specialized experience in the knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs) listed below. Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities (KSAs): Applicants are strongly encouraged to submit a separate sheet(s) addressing the Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs) and how they relate to work experience, education or training. Knowledge to overcome obstacles to gather and interpret evidence; ability to recognize and resolve discrepancies and/or inconsistencies among findings.
