Job Description

To qualify for this position, you must have sufficient knowledge and ability in the following job-related factors: Ability to Do the Work of the Position without More Than Normal Supervision (SCREEN OUT) Operation of Motor Vehicles Ability to Drive Safely (Motor Vehicles) Ability to Operate Safely (Non-motor Vehicles) Work Practices (Including Keeping Things Neat, Clean, and in Order) Reliability and Dependability Ability to Interpret Instructions, Specifications, etc. (Related to Mobile Equipment Operation) Your resume must clearly show that you are able to perform custodial services and motor vehicle operations with full supervision such as: Ability to perform common tasks as a motor vehicle operator. Operate some types of gasoline or diesel-powered heavy equipment having a GVW of 26,001 pounds or more with air braking systems in all types of weather and road conditions. Tasks assigned to me are inspected upon completion by my work leader or supervisor for conformance to requirements. Examples include operating front-end loaders, dump trucks with snowplows, rubber-tired backhoes, liquid asphalt distributors, steel faced vibratory rollers, front loader style trash compactor trucks, and tractors with mowing attachments. If your knowledge and ability in the SCREEN OUT factor above is not sufficient, you will receive no further consideration.
