Job Summary

As a Project Manager for Real Estate Sales (also known as Realty Specialist), you will perform a variety of management and disposal duties such as implement real property asset management and disposal strategies and actions. Location of position: PBS/Office of Real Property Disposition The Office of Real Property Disposition is responsible for the disposal of excess Federal real property. We are currently filling two vacancies, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.

The GS-12 salary range starts at $94,654 per year. If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected. To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or higher in the Federal service. Specialized experience is one year of experience equivalent to the GS-11 in the Federal service. Specialized experience is performing real estate disposal, sales and transfer actions for excess and surplus commercial and/or industrial properties. This experience must include: Researching, interpreting and applying real estate disposal laws, regulations and procedures; Developing and implementing property disposal plans and strategies; Performing real estate site inspections; Conducting highest and best use analysis for real property; Negotiating and preparing the terms of disposal and transfer agreements; and Conducting customer outreach and marketing for real estate disposal and transfer opportunities.
