Job Summary

This position is located in the Office of the Inspector General (OIG), Management Services, Office of Administrative Operations. The incumbent performs technical and administrative duties supporting OIG programs and policies, including training support, general administration, credential management, clearances, and internal controls.

Job Description

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Specialized Experience for the GS-12 level: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or equivalent public or private sector experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the three (3) following duties or work assignments below: Managing facilities, space, and administrative programs by applying advanced administrative and management principles. Planning and organizing work to meet deadlines for managing space, renovations, assets, supplies, goods, and services. Requisitioning and issuing equipment and supplies, as well as coordinating supply management, inventory management, procurement, acquisition, and logistics activities in support of organizational operations and programs. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) The quality of your experience will be measured by the extent to which you possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs). You do not need to provide separate narrative responses to these KSAs, as they will be measured by your responses to the occupational questionnaire (you may preview the occupational questionnaire by clicking the link at the end of the Evaluations section of this vacancy announcement). Knowledge of Federal Facilities and Administrative Management of federal policies, procedures, and best practices related to facilities, space, asset, and supply management, including the ability to interpret and implement relevant regulations and directives to ensure organizational compliance and operational efficiency. Knowledge of implementing federal and agency regulations, developing and implementing administrative procedures, and making recommendations to improve program efficiency. Skilled in oral and written communications, with the ability to present findings, explain technical information, and establish effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support program goals and improve operational outcomes. Ability to analyze complex information from various sources to develop data-driven conclusions and recommendations. Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships. Ability to collect, review, and analyze complex information from various sources to develop data-driven conclusions and actionable recommendations for senior leadership.
