Job Description

Applicants must have one-year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level in the Federal service which provided the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position. Qualifying specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Planning, conducting, or participating in special studies personally or through team members. Providing advice, guidance, implementation, coordination, and direction on a range of administrative functions and operational issues, budget, policies, procedures, and directives. Identifying requirements and initiating requests for additional resources including personnel, equipment, supplies, and space to ensure success in meeting goals and objectives. Providing advice to senior supervisors on significant issues and problems related to work accomplishments and goals. Developing and evaluating policies in assigned program areas, taking necessary actions to achieve organizational objectives, and recommending program objectives and improvements for the future. There is no substitute of education for specialized experience for the GS-15 position.
