OFPM is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic Supervisor (Electric) to ensure reliable operation of critical electrical infrastructure supporting NIST's research mission. This role leads high-voltage, elevator, and construction units, minimizing outages, directing complex maintenance and repairs, and ensuring safety and code compliance. Incumbent drives workforce readiness, coordinates multi-craft projects, and safeguards continuity of operations.

The applicant's overall background of experience, education, and training must clearly demonstrate the ability to lead or supervise employees in an electrical shop environment. This includes planning, assigning, and reviewing work; ensuring safe, efficient, and code-compliant operations; and carrying out supervisory responsibilities such as training, evaluating performance, and addressing employee conduct.There is no specific length or level of experience requirements.
