Job Summary
The position is located in the Architect of the Capitol (AOC), Office of the Chief Security Officer (OCSO), Assistant Director, Administrative Services Division. The Stakeholder Liaison supports OCSO requirements related to Congressional correspondence as promulgated through the AOC Legislative and Public Affairs office; performs legislative liaison activities between the AOC, Congress, U.S. Capitol Police, other agencies and external stakeholders on a broad range of AOC program activities.

Specialized Experience is experience that has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position and is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To be creditable, an applicant's one full year (52 weeks) of specialized experience must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary for successful job performance. To qualify at the GS-12 level, your resume must clearly demonstrate that you have one full year (52 weeks) of specialized experience comparable in difficulty and responsibility to at least the GS-11 level in the federal service. Examples of qualifying experience include the following types of tasks performed on a regular and recurring basis: Serving as a liaison between organizational leadership and external stakeholders to manage inquiries and coordinate responses related to operational matters; Coordinated with multiple offices and/or departments to support security-related activities, ensuring information is timely communication, task tracking and follow through on action items; and Preparing written materials summarizing internal and external stakeholder meetings for leadership review. To qualify at the GS-13 level, your resume must clearly demonstrate that you have one full year (52 weeks) of specialized experience comparable in difficulty and responsibility to at least the GS-12 level in the federal service. Examples of qualifying experience include the following types of tasks performed on a regular and recurring basis: the legislative process to evaluate the impact of legislation on Agency programs, functions or missions. Serving as a primary liaison between organizational leadership and external stakeholders to manage high-level inquiries and coordinate comprehensive responses or security-related matters; Executing inter-departmental coordination efforts across large-scale organizations to support complex activities related to security operations and infrastructure; and Developing executive-level reports and briefing materials that synth engagements and meetings into clear summaries, actions items and recommendations for senior leadership.
