Job Description

Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. A qualified candidate must possess the following: Work experience that includes the demonstrated ability to carry-out a sports program that included a variety of individual and team sports. Work experience guiding participants in developing the skills needed for participation in sports activities and teaching the techniques of various sports. (The related work experience must have been equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the next lower grade level). In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": Candidates who possess a combination of education (an undergraduate in related fields such as physical education or kinesiology) and work experience as identified above. Possession of a nationally identified Basic Fitness Trainer Certification. Possess six (6) months experience in personnel and budget management. Ability to plan and coordinate fitness programs and direct fitness facility operations. Possess experience with point of sales systems ( e.g., RecTrac) with the ability to reconcile installment billing for facility subscriptions (i.e., Locker rental, contractor billing/payables).
