A qualified candidate must possess the following: 1. One (1) year of managerial experience which includes executive knowledge and ability to perform Family, Morale, Welfare and Recreation (FMWR) functions for a garrison (e.g. integrate plans into appropriated and Nonappropriated fund annual operating budgets, review program changes, evaluate goal achievement and program execution, etc.) In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": 1. Senior level leadership experience overseeing multiple programs, facilities, or multi site operations, including supervision of program managers or large NAF/APF teams 2. Demonstrated experience across multiple DFMWR program areas (such as CYS, ACS, Business Operations, Operations, Events, Fitness, Recreation, or Outdoor Recreation), including knowledge of applicable regulations, compliance requirements, and inspection processes (e.g., AR 215 1, AR 608 1, CIP, audits) 3. Experience managing NAF/APF financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, procurement/contracting processes, and improving operational or cost recovery performance 4. Experience leading strategic planning, coordinating with installation partners, and communicating effectively with senior leaders to develop, expand, or execute major DFMWR programs, services, or events in an overseas or host nation environment.
