This position is located at MWR, Army Lodging, Tower Barracks (Grafenwoehr), Germany. This announcement has been extended to 10-Aug-2026. It will have a first cut-off date of 3-Aug-2026. Job Description

Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. A qualified candidate must possess the following: Ability to communicate in English at a level to assure the duties described can be accomplished in a safe and satisfactory manner. Demonstrated skills in successfully operating standard tools Experience in accomplishing the types of duties described in this job. Skill and Knowledge: Must have a working knowledge of wood working techniques and basic shop mathematics. Must be skilled in use and operation of common hand and power tools and measuring devices of the carpentry and painting trades to perform a variety of tasks. Must have a knowledge of standard surface preparation and coating methods and techniques. Must have ability to read and follow basic blueprints and sketches. Must have skill in manipulating controls of a motor vehicle. In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": One (1) year of Army Lodging experience. Two (2) years experience as Maintenance Worker. Applicant meeting the Best Qualifying Criteria/Highly Preferred will be referred to the hiring manager.
