Job Description

Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. A qualified candidate must possess the following: 1. Work experience, which includes: 1) interpreting and assessing program financial performance using standard financial management systems; 2) interpreting balance sheet and profit and loss statement results; AND 3) applying commercial budgeting technique. 2. Supervisory experience directing technical and professional financial management operations In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": 1) Work experience directing/managing in DFMWR Financial Management for a Garrison, or similar civilian community, for at least one year. 2) Knowledge of programming, planning, budgeting, and long range planning. 3) Two (2) years' of supervisory experience. 4) Experience in NAF Financial Management to include budget formulation, internal controls, manpower, financial reporting, and audit readiness. 5) Demonstrates proficiency in understanding non-appropriated fund Operations to include NAF Major Construction and Capital Purchase Minor Construction (CPMC) 6) Possess a minimum of two years' experience that demonstrate the ability to apply financial accounting principles, methods and techniques of fiscal management, with a strong background in budget preparation, payroll management, internal control and financial system reporting.
