Job Description

A qualified candidate must possess the following: 1. One (1) year of specialized work experience directly related to the duties of a Publishing and Media Designer 2. Working knowledge of Adobe and Microsoft products 3. Manage multiple concurrent projects effectively 4. Work under pressure 5. Strong project management and time management skills 6. Strong organization skills 7. Team environment 8. Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills 9. Excellent presentation skills In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": 1. Experienced Publishing and Media Designer needed with a strong background in newspaper and magazine publications. 2. Expertise required in Adobe Creative Suite and content management systems like CUE, WordPress, and Drupal, as well as writing and editing for web, print, and social media. Applicant meeting the Best Qualifying Criteria/Highly Preferred will be referred to the hiring manager. All other qualified applicants will be referred if requested by the hiring manager.
