Job Description

A qualified candidate must possess the following: Applicant must have 12 months in material handling and supply activities or related work experience. Must possess a valid driver's license. *upload a copy under "License" PHYSICAL EFFORT: Performs work on hard surfaces and in work areas that require standing, stooping, bending. May be required to work at rapid pace for long periods of time. Frequently lifts and carries supplies and equipment that weighs up to 40 pounds. Assistance is available from other workers and equipment for moving items over 40 pounds. Light physical effort is required in reaching, bending, turning, or moving hands, arms, feet, and legs to operate hand and foot controls. Moderate physical effort is required in the handling of objects weighing up to 40 pounds, and the occasional handling of heavier objects while loading cargo with the assistance of others or weight handling equipment. WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is performed inside warehouse in bin rooms, open storage areas and on receiving or shipping docks. Areas may be cold, drafty, damp or hot. Frequently exposed to scrapes, cuts and bruises. May be exposed to broken hones from falling stock or moving equipment. Required to wear safety equipment and clothing appropriate for this position. Drives outside in all kinds of weather in a controlled traffic environment throughout a military installation. Exposed to dirt and fumes, and the possibility of cuts, bruises, and broken bones as a result of accidents while driving or from falling objects when loading and unloading the vehicle.
