Job Description

Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. A qualified candidate must possess the following: Minimum Qualifications: Work Experience that includes: Interpreting and assessing program financial performance using standard financial management systems Interpreting balance sheet and profit and loss statement results. Applying commercial budgeting techniques. 2. Supervisory experience directing technical and professional management operations. In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": 1. Possess a minimum three years of experience with Army Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) programs. 2. Possess a minimum of one year of experience working in a position in the 0500 occupational series group defined by the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) or the equivalent. 3. Possess demonstrated experience administering Army MWR Financial Management programs such as: Overseeing all phases of the non-appropriated fund (NAF) annual operating budget, budget vs actual variance reports, reviewing financial statements, internal controls, Capital Purchase and Minor Construction (CPMC) budget, and NAF Major Construction (NAFMC) program. Using Army MWR management information systems (MIS) such as Financial Management Budgeting System (FMBS), Standard Management Information Reports for Finance (SMIRF), SNACS, government purchase card (GPC), travel, RecTrac, and the Installation Management Employee Tracking System (IMETS). 4. Possess demonstrated competence in Microsoft Office products with an emphasis on Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI, etc. to prepare reports and briefings based on financial performance, program usage, trends, etc. 5. Possess demonstrated competence in Microsoft Power Platform products such as Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps to automate workflows, simplify tasks, prepare data visualization, etc. Qualifications must be clearly verifiable in your resume. Government positions must include pay plan, series, grade, to and from dates, and government agency/department.
