Job Description

Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. A qualified candidate must possess the following: Minimum Qualifications: 1. Possesses directly related work experience that includes the demonstrated ability to carry-out a Sports Program that included a variety of individual and team sports and guiding participants in developing the skills needed for participation in sports activities and teaching the techniques of various sports, AND, 2. The related work experience must have been equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the next lower grade level. In addition to the above qualifications, Highly Desirable : 3. Posses a combination of education (an undergraduate in related fields such as physical education or kinesiology) 4. Posses of a nationally identified Basic Fitness Trainer Certification *Resume MUST clearly reflect the knowledge and experience listed under the minimum qualifications criteria above. Highly Qualified Criteria 1. Must have worked in a fitness center or gym for a minimum of 6 months in the past 4 years. 2. Demonstrated experience with lead/supervisory duties.
