Job Description

Minimum Qualifications: 1. Possesses directly related work experience that includes the demonstrated ability to carry-out a Sports Program that included a variety of individual and team sports and guiding participants in developing the skills needed for participation in sports activities and teaching the techniques of various sports. 2. The related work experience must have been equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the next lower grade level. *Resume MUST clearly reflect the knowledge and experience listed under the minimum qualifications criteria above *Highly Preferred/Highly Qualified: 1. Must have worked in a fitness center or gym for a minimum of 6 months in the past 4 years. 2. Candidates who possess a combination of education (an undergraduate in related fields such as Physical Education or Kinesiology) and work experience as identified above. 3. Possession of a nationally identified Basic Fitness Trainer Certification. NOTE: Applicants who meet both minimum qualifications and best qualified criteria will be referred to the selecting official for consideration first.
