This position is located at the West Point MWR Arts & Crafts Center. NOTE: The official title for this position is Engraving Machine Operator NA-06. The "working title" is Frame and Design Specialist NA-06. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid.

Job Description

A qualified candidate must possess the following: Must have comparable work experience that provided the applicant with the knowledge, skills and ability to carry out the above duties. Knowledge and skill using tools of the trade. This experience must be reflected on your resume to be considered eligible for this position. Skill and Knowledge: Skill in using and adjusting hand tools and machinery common to picture framing and engraving. Skill in the application of measuring, fastening, and cutting techniques. Ability to interpret work orders, written instructions, and diagrams. Ability to use measuring instruments. Ability to perform minor maintenance on equipment. Ability to correct flaws or defects in materials and end product. Knowledge of properties the materials being utilized. Ability to instruct others in techniques of custom framing.
