Job Description
Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. A qualified candidate must possess the following: Applicants must have experience performing work similar to the duties listed above. Must be able to manage multiple projects and determine priorities of work under the guidance of SOPs, APF and NAF BOSS regulations, and immediate supervisor. Ability to learn military correspondence procedures and dealing with the public. Must also possess excellent verbal and written skills in English. Must have a working knowledge of basic software, i.e. Knowledge of budget formulation and administration is also required. Highly preferred candidates will be referred to management first. In addition to meeting the above qualifications, highly preferred is defined as also meeting all of the criteria listed below: A minimum of 2 years experience preparing and managing a budget. A minimum of 2 years experience planning, executing, and evaluating events and recreational programming. A minimum of 1 year experience advising, mentoring, or directing a committee, board, volunteer organization or similar. A minimum of 1 year experience developing marketing plans and building partnerships with external community organizations.
