Job Summary
This position is located within the Support Services Division, IT Services - Fort Riley Support the team that provides MWR programs for our military and their families! By offering Information Technology services, diagnosis and troubleshooting, your contributions will keep the systems online and available. Recreation and business activities rely on IT services to get the job done everyday!
Job Description
Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. A qualified candidate must possess the following: Experience, education and/or specialized training sufficient to demonstrate knowledge and skill in: Principles and methods for integrating information systems components. Performance tuning tools and techniques. System diagnostic tool and fault identification techniques. Systems administration methods. IT security principles. Demonstrated work experience must be equivalent in complexity, difficulty and responsibility to the next lower pay band level. Experience must be clearly stated in resume and education and/or other applicable supporting documentation must be uploaded at time of application in order to be considered. Highly Preferred Criteria: Applicants meeting highly preferred criteria will be referred to management first.(Any experience that meets the Highly Preferred Criteria, must be reflected in your resume to receive credit). Highly preferred is defined as having met at least one (1) of the following criteria: Possess CompTIA A+ certification. Minimum of one year experience with hardware/software security best practices (patches, security updates, etc.), Minimum of one year experience with networking (LAN and wireless). Minimum of one year experience in IT diagnosing/troubleshooting (CPU, monitors, printers, etc.). Experience must be clearly stated in resume and any applicable certificates must be uploaded at time of application in order to be considered as highly preferred.
