This position is located within the Outdoor Recreation program, Business and Recreation Division at Ft. McCoy, WI. Announcement will a have a first cut office date of March 17, 2026. Job Description

Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. A qualified candidate must possess the following: Directly related work experience that included goals, principles, method of techniques, of outdoor recreation and understanding the interests of individuals and groups. Planning, organizing, coordinating, supervising, or evaluating community, industrial, outdoor, institutional, or other recreational programs. Work experience supervising support staff in outdoor reaction programs. Demonstrated work experience must be equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the next lower grade level. Preferred are those applicants that possess a Certified Leisure Professional through National Recreation and Park Association and work experience as indicated above and a bachelor's degree in the recreation/outdoor program areas. In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": Possess a minimum of one (1) year experience supervising staff in an outdoor recreation program. Possess a minimum of one (1) year experience creating and maintaining a Non-Appropriated Funds (NAF) budget.
