Job Description

Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. A qualified candidate must possess the following: Two years of work experience, either paid or volunteer, that has provided the demonstrated knowledge in the following areas to successfully manage a Fisher House: facility operations and maintenance; financial management; supervision of housekeeping and other maintenance staff; recruitment, training, and scheduling of volunteers; guest relations; and marketing. A four year hospitality, business or marketing related degree or certification as CLM (Certified Lodging Manager) may be substituted for one year of work experience. In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred": Work or volunteer experience at a Ronald McDonald House or other Fisher House operations. Marketing experience building community relations, website development/maintenance, social media networking and virtual presence. Non-Profit volunteer or work experience with any organization.
