Job Description

Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. A qualified candidate must possess the following: Experience that demonstrated the ability to apply the principles of sports, fitness and aquatics. Experience in planning and administering sports, fitness and aquatics program. Experience in a sports program that included a variety of individual and team sports. This experience may have been gained managing or administering a sports program in a community, industrial activity, school or college; or planning, teaching, or evaluating a physical education curriculum for a secondary or higher academic level. Required experience must have been equivalent to the next lower grade. Ability to make decisions IAW Army and DOD policies. Ability to generate and maintain effective relationships with outside agencies. Strong communication skills required. Ability to write various staff office documents. Knowledge of PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook, etc., required. In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": Highly Qualified: Possess at least one year of experience managing a sports, fitness, or aquatics program. Possess at least one year of experience with/for APF and NAF budgeting in a sports, fitness, or aquatics program. Experience MUST be reflected on your Resume at the time of application to be considered for Standard and/or Highly Qualified for this position.
