Job Description

Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. Qualifications: A Head Lifeguard must hold a current lifeguard, CPR and First Aid certification. Within 6 months of hire must obtain a pool operator's license. A Lifeguard Instructor certificate is preferred. Must have 12 months of experience in pool operation as a lifeguard with experience in swimming instruction and pool maintenance. Must be able to use sound judgment, accomplish tasks within established time frames, and possess good people skills requiring the ability to communicate in a clear, concise, and grammatically correct manner. Must have experience with office functions such as preparing and managing reports. These certificates must be reflected on your resume and can be uploaded at the time of application to be considered eligible for this position. Applicants must obtain valid certificates by May 15, 2026. This announcement is in conjunction with the Picatinny Arsenal Job Fair at the Club at Picatinny, 121 Buffington Rd., Dover, NJ 07801 on Thursday, 2 April 2026 from 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Applicants participating in the event will receive first consideration. To receive consideration, applicants must attend the Job Fair between the times of 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM. If you are not able to attend the job fair, your application will be reviewed after the event.
