Job Summary
This position is for a HR SPEC (MIL), PD# D1105000, part of the Nevada Army National Guard. The purpose of this position is to provide technical expertise and guidance for all military personnel assigned in the state, and oversee the functions of one of the following human resource programs: Officer Personnel Management (OPM), Enlisted Personnel Management (EPM), Standard Installation and Division Personnel System (SIDPERS), or the Personnel Services Section.

GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Must possess the following general experience: Analyze problems to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, and recognize solutions; Plan and organize work; and Communicate effectively orally and in writing. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must possess 1-year specialized experience must be equivalent to at least the next lower grade; experience serving as an advisor to commanders on assigned unit human resources (HR) programs, interpreting policy, and providing procedural guidance to commanders, supervisors, and military members, overseeing personnel management programs such as accessions, assignments, promotions, and separations.
