Job Summary

This position is the Director, Financial Management Group (FMG), serving as Chief Financial Officer for the Center for Information Technology (CIT), National Institutes of Health. Reporting directly to the CIT Executive Officer, the incumbent serves as principal financial advisor to the CIT Director and Deputy Director, leading budget formulation and execution for CIT's ~$500M budget, funded through the Service and Supply Fund, Fee-for-Service, and Capital Investment Funds.

You qualify at the GS-15 level, if you meet the following qualification requirements: You must demonstrate in your resume at least one (1) year of qualifying experience equivalent to at least the GS-14 level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector, performing the following types of tasks: managing budget and financial management programs for an organization; formulating and developing budget requirements to support organizational programs; preparing information for use in presenting and defending budget proposals; managing budget execution functions; and providing supervision and direction to other staff. You will receive credit for all experience material to the position, including experience gained in religious, civic, welfare, service, and organizational activities, regardless of whether you received pay.
