THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 INDEFINITE EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION This National Guard position is for a PRODUCTION CONTROLLER (AIRCRAFT) TITLE 32 INDEFINITE, Position Description Number D0749000 and is part of the NH 157th Maintenance Group, National Guard. Job Description
MILITARY REQUIREMENTS: Compatible military grade and assignment required prior to the effective date of placement. This is an INDEFINITE excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the employing state's National Guard. Applicants who are not currently a member of the National Guard must be eligible for immediate membership. Military Grades: E5 to E6 Selectee(s) must be within the military grade(s) listed in this job announcement prior to the effective date of placement into the technician position. Applicant(s) who are over grade must clearly state, in their resumes, their intentions to willingly take a reduction in grade. Compatible Military Assignments: 2R or 2A Must be a fully qualified 7-Level in respective AFSC. GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Must have experience, education and training which indicates the candidate can reason in quantitative terms, communicate orally and in writing in a clear and concise manner, understanding the terminology and data pertaining to repair operations and process characteristics of the production activity. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have specialized experience of 1-year equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-07). Experience, education and training scheduling workflow in more than one area and responsible for coordinating products or materials from support activities. Experience in performing or supervising journeyman level work in a production facility. Experience preparing job or work orders; scheduling various phases of projects into the production facility; following up to see if work is progressing as planned and arranging for adjustments in materials, machine processes, and work sequencing allowing for changes. Experience with current automation support programs to input data, provide status of equipment, and monitor job order status, monitor work priorities, requisition repair parts, track repair parts status, etc. It is not necessary for applicants to possess the MOS/AFSC listed as compatible to the position in order to apply, however applicant must meet the qualifications for the position. It is applicant's responsibility to acquire a compatible MOS/AFSC within 1 year of appointment. Coordinate with your unit's training representative to determine whether or not you can qualify for a specific MOS/AFSC and/or receive training within the 1 year timeframe before accepting the position.
