Job Description

RESUMES MUST BE TWO PAGES (OR LESS). QUALIFICATIONS MUST BE CLEARLY VERIFIABLE IN YOUR RESUME. GOVERNMENT POSITIONS MUST INCLUDE PAY PLAN, SERIES, GRADE, TO AND FROM DATES, AND GOVERNMENT AGENCY/DEPARTMENT. Must include at least one year of experience performing duties at a level which equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to perform successfully in the position. Minimum Qualifications: 1. Minimum of 6 years of experience in construction estimating or construction management. 2. Must be proficient with project estimating software and tools such as RSMeans Online, or equivalent. 3. Journeyman-level knowledge of construction estimating principles and core WBDG (Whole Building Design Guide) cost estimating standards and requirements. 4. Proficiency in interpreting drawings, specifications, and planning documents. 5. Experience in cost risk assessment, multidisciplinary coordination, and communicating complex cost concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. 6. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Highly Qualifications: 1. Knowledge of IMCOM organization, mission, policies, governing project development, design, and execution. 2. Experience managing construction projects. 3. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects effectively. 4. Knowledge of set schedules and milestones. 5. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management is preferred, or equivalent field experience.
