Job Description
RESUMES MUST BE TWO PAGES (OR LESS). QUALIFICATIONS MUST BE CLEARLY VERIFIABLE IN YOUR RESUME. GOVERNMENT POSITIONS MUST INCLUDE PAY PLAN, SERIES, GRADE, TO AND FROM DATES, AND GOVERNMENT AGENCY/DEPARTMENT. Must include at least one year of experience performing duties at a level which equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to perform successfully in the position. Minimum Requirements: 1. One (1) year of managerial or supervisory work experience that demonstrates comprehensive analytical skills and acquired formal training in financial analysis and financial management systems. 2. Must possess good oral communication and writing skills. Strong organizational skills are required. 3. Must be able to manage multiple concurrent projects effectively and present ideas and proposals to a variety of audiences. 4. Knowledge of standard office software such as word processing, graphics presentation, spreadsheet and e-mail. Highly Qualifications: Highly qualified candidate will possess on top of the minim requirements the following: 1. Experience working with and analyzing data using one or more Army MWR systems such as: Standard Management Information Reports for Finance (SMIRF), Financial Management Budget System (FMBS), Installation Status Report (ISR), Army Community Recreation Reporting Online (ACRRO), and/or Installation Management Employee Tracking System (IMETS). 2. Self starter who takes the initiative and works well independently but is also a strong team player who requires interfacing and collaboration with other subject matter experts and stakeholders. 3. Ability to work with counterparts from OSW, Air Force, Navy and Marine Corps. 4. Experience working three (3) years minimum as an Installation Division Chief in MWR Business, Recreation, or NAF Support area and have experience overseeing MWR Programs at the Headquarter or Region level. 5. Four (4 ) years experience in MWR operations and / or financial management programs that provided a general knowledge of overall MWR operations and operational experience in hospitality operations, financial analysis, and budget operations. A Graduate degree in finance, accounting, or business is also preferred, however; adequate training and experience can be an acceptable substitute. All Qualified applicants will be rated against the highly qualifying criteria by a rating panel for evaluation of the quality and extent of your total accomplishments, experience and education.
