About the Position: The Europe Office of the Director has three full-time 648346 Family and Stakeholder Engagement Officer roles in Brussels, Stuttgart, and Vogelweh. Federal employees in Brussels, Stuttgart, and Vogelweh presently receive Post Allowance (COLA) rates of 50%, 42%, and 42%, respectively, in addition to base pay; allowance levels are periodically reviewed and may change.

Education: Master's degree or higher in education, public administration, organizational development, communications or closely related field. NOTE: The course work must have been completed at, or accepted by, a regionally accredited U.S. college or university. Applicants must provide copies of official bachelor's and master's transcripts (include EDS and Doctorate if applicable) AND General Experience: Three years general experience in educational administration, educational research, special education, education testing, or comparable activities which have clearly demonstrated success in the application of principles, methods, and techniques of education, and provided familiarity with the current developments in education and training. Experience that demonstrates knowledge of special education program instruction or administration is preferred. AND Specialized Experience: Two years of specialized experience in a staff or supervisory position which clearly demonstrated the ability to administer school educational programs and to effectively develop, or evaluate stakeholder engagement programs, community outreach strategies, or partnership initiatives within an educational setting. Specialized experience must include collaborating with multiple stakeholder groups (e.g., families, leadership, community organizations, or interagency partners) and dispute resolution.
