Job Summary

This position is located in the United Stated Department of Labor (DOL), Employment and Training Administration (ETA), Office of Workforce Investment (OWI). OWI is responsible for implementing an integrated national workforce investment system that supports economic growth and provides workers with the information, advice, job search assistance, supportive services, and training for in-demand industries and occupations. The official title of this position is Program Analyst.

Job Description

GS-14: Applicants must have 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, GS-13 in the Federal Service. Specialized Experience is the experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA's) to perform the duties of the position successfully, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. Qualifying specialized experience is defined as all of the following: Working with IT or technical teams and other stakeholders to translate program or business needs into requirements for a system, platform, or digital service (such as, but not limited to, systems supporting workforce development, employment services, labor market information, or other similar public-facing program delivery); Monitoring progress, milestones, or deliverables on an IT modernization, systems development, or digital platform project, including using data or performance metrics to evaluate the system or project and inform recommendations; and Supporting change management or communication efforts related to a technology or business process change.
