This position is in Department of Labor's (DOL's), Employment and Training Administration (ETA), Office of Policy Development and Research (OPDR).This position serves as a Management and Program Analyst and performs analytical and evaluative work related to the planning, development, administration, and improvement of substantive mission-oriented programs and operations.

Job Description

For GS-13: Applicants must have one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, GS-12, in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position successfully, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. To be eligible for this position, applicants must meet the specialized experience criteria as outlined in the vacancy announcement. Specifically, resumes must reflect one year of specialized experience at the next lower grade level (GS-12) or equivalent, including the month, year, and number of work hours for each relevant experience listed. Qualifying specialized experience includes meeting all of the following statements: Experience applying performance accountability requirements, regulations, and evaluation methods related to the public workforce system; Experience developing and providing technical assistance, such as written guidance, oral presentations, or web-based tools on performance-related topics; Experience creating briefing materials, including data analysis, charts, graphs, or reports, and providing oral briefings to office or agency leadership; and Experience conducting data analysis on public workforce system performance outcomes and translating findings into graphical or visual representations for public or leadership audiences WHEN DOCUMENTING EXPERIENCE IN YOUR RESUME, PLEASE BE CLEAR AND SPECIFIC.
