This position is located in the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL), Office of the Assistant Secretary for Employment and Training (OASET). This position personally serves as the principal Executive Assistant to the Assistant Secretary for Employment and Training and is accountable for the full range of executive-level confidential advisory and administrative support functions.

Specialized Experience GS-14 Applicants must have 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, GS-13 in the Federal Service. Specialized Experience is the experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA's) to perform the duties of the position successfully, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. Qualifying experience is described as the following, you must meet all of the following: Experience providing support to senior level executives, or equivalent, with managing human resources functions, managing calendars, travel logistics, and coordinating high-level meetings; Experience developing correspondence, reports, briefings, and/or technical guidance; Experience setting goals, managing projects, tracking progress, and evaluating outcomes; and Experience identifying issues, determining possible solutions, and making recommendations regarding administrative issues.
