Job Description
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Must possess experience, education or training providing a good understanding of administrative methods for accomplishing the work of the organization. Experience applying applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations concerning transportation and traffic procedures. Experience preparing reports and recommendations involving appeals, special permits, adjustments in rates and charges. Experience in maintenance of inventories and cost computations. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must possess at least 12 months experience, education, or training performing, administering or supervising technical and analytical work concerned with planning, development, execution or operating of rails, motor, air, or water transportation systems and service, including positions involving responsibility for operation of both transportation service and terminal facilities. Experience interpreting applicable Federal, State and local laws, and regulations concerning transportation and traffic procedures. Knowledge of transportation requirements and systems for specific geographic areas.
