About the Position: Incumbent serves as a Traffic Management Specialist in the Domestic Movement Support Division. Responsible for providing transportation support to include meeting with commercial service providers, hosting conferences and workshops, conducting assessments of commercial carrier performance, and developing revisions to procedures, policies, and regulations. As a senior traffic management specialist, focus is on providing more complex traffic management functional expertise.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or equivalent pay system in the Federal Service which includes experience in the following areas: 1) Experience coordinating with transportation organizations to support surface transportation and logistics support services. 2) Experience providing transportation support on inquiries with customers and commercial service providers. 3) Experience interpreting transportation regulations and policies to provide advice and recommendations to customers, coworkers, and leaders/manager. 4) Experience developing transportation procedures, policies, and regulations. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
