Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: performing computer-controlled testing of electronic systems; diagnosing circuit problems by the use of schematic diagrams; isolating system faults through the application of theoretical analysis of circuitry construction; calibrating a variety of test equipment to ensure reliability; repairing and/or replacing components; and preparing computer test data for electronic transmission. Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-09).
