SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service which includes: 1) Coordinating test activities related to networking functions, protocols, physical interfaces and products over large and small networks; 2) Integrating policies and procedures for control of telecommunications systems and components; 3) Evaluating telecommunications systems to ensure user requirements are met in terms of system capabilities; and 4) Providing training on new telecommunications equipment and refresher courses on existing equipment. Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
