About the Position: Serves as Budget Officer responsible for all budget operations, providing expert advice to command leadership, financial management officials and stakeholders across all phases of the budget process.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: Reviewing operating budgets to analyze trends affecting budget needs; Analyzing department budgeting and accounting reports to maintain expenditure controls; Providing advice on cost analysis, fiscal allocation, or budget preparation; Assigning, reviewing, or evaluating work of others. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
