BASIC REQUIREMENT: In addition to the specialized experience listed below, your resume must indicate IT-related experience demonstrating the four competencies: Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations. Oral Communication - Expresses information to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. AND To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as installing and maintaining network software, hardware and equipment; using network monitoring tools to monitor network operation, and performing troubleshooting to resolve technical problems affecting network performance. Installing and maintaining network switches, routers and firewalls. OR Possess a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree from a nationally accredited university that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position.
