Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes interrogate callers to determine the problem and the nature of emergency calls; refer non-emergency callers to appropriate civilian and governmental agencies; and dispatch a variety of emergency response units. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-08).
