You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Additional information about transcripts is in this document. Specialized Experience GS-9 Have one year of specialized experience which includes the following. Under close supervision, provide research and information to help with preparation of the final documentation for initiation of contract awards requirements to be included in service contracts. Provide support while training under the program manager for contracting on complex issues such as modifications, exercising contracts and evaluation of technical proposals. Assist with simple tasks for construction such as maintenance and repair of structures and equipment. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-08). Or Have successfully completed a master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2.5 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree with a major study in an appropriate field of engineering, construction, or industrial technology; OR (b) that included at least 18 semester hours in any combination of courses such as engineering, or industrial technology. (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.) Or Have the specialized experience as described in A, but less than one year; and I have at least two years of graduate education as described in B, but less than the required two and a half years. I have computed the percentage of the requirements that I meet, and the total is at least 100% (To compute the percentage, divide your total months of qualifying experience by 12. Then, divide your semester hours of graduate education beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 9. Add the two percentages. The total percentage must equal at least 100 percent to qualify.). (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.) Specialized Experience GS-10 Have one year of specialized experience which includes the following.
