About the Position: Incumbent manages the real property program for Fort Leonard Wood and Lake of the Ozarks Recreation Area (LORA). This position is being recruited for at the GS-09 or GS-11 grade levels. Selection can be made at either grade level. If filled at the GS-09 level, the position offers noncompetitive promotion potential to GS-11 level.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience for the GS-09 level: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the federal service which includes 1) Gathering documentation for real property actions, such as category code and measurement and 2) Providing basic information in response to routine inquiries about real property assets and 3) Participating in physical inventories of real property to verify records. OR Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position such as, real estate principles, real estate asset management, real estate valuation, real estate finance, real estate law, real estate development, and special topics in real estate. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages. Specialized Experience for the GS-11 level: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service which includes 1) Managing real property records to ensure data accuracy and compliance with governing regulations and 2) Conducting with real property transactions, such as the acquisition, disposal, or leasing of assets and 3) Responding to inquiries regarding real property assets and utilization from internal and/or external stakeholders and 4) Conducting physical inventories and utilization surveys of real property to support property management functions. OR Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position such as, real estate principles, real estate asset management, real estate valuation, real estate finance, real estate law, real estate development, and special topics in real estate. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%.
