Job Description

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in the Federal service which includes: 1) coordinating and/or leading a wide variety of complex and/or major work requirements reviewing, and managing facilities sustainment, repair and maintenance, construction projects, and service contracts for a wide variety of clients; 2) providing supervision, leadership and direction to subordinate facilities operations specialists by delegating specific authority to carry out their respective responsibilities while establishing employee performance standards, conducting performance appraisals, and establishing leave schedules and approval guidelines. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
