Job Summary
This position is located in the Department of Compact Operations, Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC). Although the position is advertised equivalent to GS-13, MCC uses a pay-band system to compensate employees. This position is pay band 4A which is generally equal to GS-13. _.
Job Description
To qualify for pay band 4A applicants must meet the following: Qualifying experience for Pay Band 4A includes one year of specialized experience (comparable to the Pay Band 4B or GS-12 or equivalent non-federal experience), which is directly related to the work of this position, and which has equipped the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. For this position, examples of specialized experience are: providing financial management and strategic reporting to formulate and monitor annual budget submissions and divisional funding needs; serving as liaison between program division/office and budget staff; reconciling internal department/division monthly ledgers/budgets; experience with financial reporting systems; analyzing financial data, identifying discrepancies, and recommending solutions; and communicating, verbally and in writing, in order to present analyses and reports, presentations, proposals and recommendations. Note: This experience must be well documented in your resume/application. PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit may be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work.
