THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a SMALL ARMS REPAIRER, Position Description Number PDD1227000 and is part of the KY CSMS, National Guard.

Job Description

MINIMUM REQUIREMENT: Experience reading and interpreting instructions, repair manual, specifications and drawings. Experience using testing devices, measuring instruments, hand tools and equipment. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have 18 months experience repairing, overhauling, and rebuilding small arms. Experience inspecting small arms to diagnose malfunctions, wear and/or damage. Experience performing accurization procedures on weapons to improve their performance. Experience applying technical manuals, regulations, specifications and drawings to determine operation, assembly and tolerances of weapons. Experience using and maintaining hand/power tools and gages (such as drills, files, gages, measuring tools, etc.) EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Resume must have complete dates, work schedule, and/or hours worked per week for both civilian and military employment. (Example: 2 JAN 1980 to 3 MAR 1981; 0800-1630 M-F or JAN 1980 to MAR 1981; 40 hrs/wk) Use of year only and unspecified work schedule will result in disqualification.
