Job Summary

THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a MILITARY & FAMILY READINESS SPECIALIST-TITLE 5, Position Description Number PDT57014P1 and is part of the KY J1, National Guard. Indefinite employment is temporary and is expected to last more than one year but no more than five consecutive years. This appointment will not exceed 01 JUL 2031 and will not be extended without further competition.

Job Description

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have at least one (1) year experience at the next lower level in the normal line of progression through federal service (GS-07) or equivalent experience in the private or public sector that demonstrates the experience and knowledge of managing, coordinating and planning family, quality-of-life or human services programs. Experience providing advice and assistance on community resources and social service agencies/programs. Experience analyzing, evaluating and making recommendations for improvement of family, quality-of-life or human services programs. Experience developing newsletters, literature and training materials to support a program. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Resume must have complete dates, work schedule, and/or hours worked per week for both civilian and military employment. (Example: 2 JAN 1980 to 3 MAR 1981; 0800-1630 M-F or JAN 1980 to MAR 1981; 40 hrs/wk) Use of year only and unspecified work schedule will result in disqualification.
